About this project
The wallboard is the ambient heartbeat of our office: one 16:9 screen that always shows what matters right now. Live news from a set of curated feeds, the local weather, and the health of our own platforms and stores, arranged in calm panels with subtle ambient motion instead of blinking alerts. The idea: walk past it and you know how the day is going, without opening a single dashboard.
It's also our most physical project. The Raspberry Pi that drives the screen lives in an enclosure we designed ourselves in Blender: a permanent VESA dock on the back of the monitor, a serviceable case with fan cooling and cable clips, and an integrated wide-angle camera cartridge. Every part is 3D-printed in-house from our own print-ready models.
The showcase film on this page comes straight from that design work: it's the actual Blender model of the mount, rendered as a product animation. Small project, full Punfyre treatment — software, hardware, and the design story around it.
