About this project

Vivalyte sells LED technology, which means a catalog that is mostly numbers: beam angles, luminous flux, CRI, IP ratings, cut lengths, operating temperatures. Over two hundred products, each with variants, and every figure has to match what the factory can actually build.

So nobody retypes any of it. The catalog syncs over an API with the product information system the company already runs on, which stays the single place data is maintained. Specifications, variants, and the documents that belong to them arrive on the site as they are, and the buildable combinations shown in the configurator are the ones the source data says exist.

Lighting professionals need more than a photo. Every product carries its datasheets, compliance documents, and installation manuals as PDFs, plus the IES and LDT files a lighting designer loads into their own software, and we render the photometric data as a polar diagram on the page so the beam shape can be read at a glance instead of downloaded first.

All of that arrives as source material, not as web assets. Images come in at whatever size the factory supplied and are resized and re-encoded to modern formats on the way through, and documents are checked and served rather than dumped in a folder, so a catalog this heavy still loads like a light one.
