About this project

A WordPress site is easy to launch and easy to neglect. We look after a portfolio of them across very different organisations: trade publishers, staffing groups, an architecture practice, retailers, and care initiatives. Some we built, some we inherited, and all of them keep running because somebody watches them.

In practice that is core and plugin updates that do not break the site, security monitoring with alerting when something tries the login page, caching and performance work so pages stay quick, and the unglamorous plumbing underneath: domains, DNS, mail delivery, certificates, and processing agreements with the hosting parties.

When something does go down, there is one number to call and a person who already knows the setup. We also wrote a plain-language WordPress manual for the people who publish on these sites, because the fastest support is the request that never has to be made.
